One of the most famous comedy duos ever to grace radio, tv, and movies was Bud Abbott and Lou Costello.
Everyone has heard of these guys right? Even if your not into classic radio, you've probably heard "Who's On First", one of their most famous, and probably one of their most popular, sketches which incidentally help them become one of the first non-playing members to be inducted into the baseball hall of fame in 1957.
Most of their sketches were based on word games like horses fodder(father) and knead the dough(need the dough).
Going from stage to radio, movies and tv, the famous pair remained together for the rest of their carear and were good friends in real life as well.
